Seeing is Believing

My girl said, "Mom, it's hard to always trust God when I can't see Him."

"I know Baby. Oh how I know." came my reply. "But God has not left us without evidence that He exists and He promises that He is near."

Psalm 95:1-5 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, and the great King above all gods. In His hands are the deep places of the earth; the heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.

Psalm 136:1-9 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! for His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the God of gods! For His mercy endures forever. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords! For His mercy endures forever; to Him who alone does great wonders, for His mercy endures forever;

to Him who by wisdom made the heavens, for His mercy endures forever;

to Him who laid out the earth above the waters, for His mercy endures forever;

to Him who made great lights, for His mercy endures forever;

the sun to rule by day, for His mercy endures forever;

the moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endures forever!

Mercy...a bit of a theme going on there. I like it! Better yet, I need it!!

We need only look at the world around us to see the evidence of God's handiwork.

"And my beloved girl, KNOW that you are loved and love is the best evidence of God there is!"

1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
