Today we will gather with family.
We will celebrate, we will laugh, and we will enjoy a peaceful afternoon.
We will throw something yummy wrapped in bacon on the grill.
We will openly say a prayer of thanksgiving!
We will do all of this because men and women have sacrificed their time and lives to protect our nation and our freedom! They have not sacrificed alone. Their families too have sacrificed much.
I am deeply grateful!
